Bruno Mars or Peter Gene Hernandez was born on October 8, 1985, in Honolulu, Hawaii. He is an American singer and songwriter who is well-known for his music. Bruno Mars has had five number one hit songs and has won over 19 awards for his songs. There is no denying how successful Bruno Mars is in the music industry, and with his fame, has opened his heart many times to donate to organizations helping others. For example, he donated $1 million to the water crisis that happened in Flint, Michigan. Mars has always believed that helping others is important, especially during trying times. When the pandemic broke out and left many without a job, Mars donated $1 million to MGM employees displaced by COVID-19. MGM employees who were temporarily out of work were thanking Mars because he stepped up to donate his money to those struggling to make ends meet. Bruno Mars is also inspirational, as his music and who he is, make others believe they can achieve the same. He once said, “You can’t knock on opportunity’s door and not be ready.”
