He’s out of this world!

Peter Gene Hernandez, rather known as Bruno Mars, was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, on October 8th, 1985. He is 36 years old and was raised in Waikiki. Mars is one of six children born from his mother and father, Bernadette San Pedro Bayot and Peter Hernandez. His mother was a singer and a dancer whilst his father was performing “Little Richard’s” music, which inspired Mars’ music career.

A nine-time Grammy winner, famous musician, singer-songwriter, and everything in between, Bruno Mars is someone I genuinely adore in music. His top album is Doo-Wops & Hooligans and I’ve listened to Mars since I was a little kid, and haven’t stopped. The album includes his number one song, “Just the Way You Are.”  The reason why I love him and his music so much is because he does almost every genre of music with lots of different artists, such as British musician Mark Ronson on “Uptown Funk.”  He isn’t afraid to have fun with his music, and he brings joy to my life with every word.

Mars is the type of singer-songwriter that has all your favorite genres of music. He likes to switch things up within his music career. Although it takes time producing another album, you can never get tired of his music, like there is just everything in one. His music reminds me constantly that I need to see the little things in life that should matter. That I shouldn’t always look down at a device to find happiness. Although his past music was all sadness,  It helps me see the positive side of things! I will always continue to look up to Bruno Mars and support him in every decision(that isn’t controversial) he makes, even if it means in the far future he decides to retire from the music industry.

His music will always have a major impact on my life and he will always have a huge place in my heart.  Mars has earned numerous awards and honors throughout his career, including 15 Grammy Awards, four Brit Awards, four Guinness World Records, 11 American and 13 Soul Train Music Awards.
