My favorite show to binge watch is South Park because it’s so funny, and the characters are so entertaining and just make me laugh. Created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, it is a show that criticizes society and the people who are in the news.  It is satire at its finest.

My favorite character is definitely Kenny McCormick, who is a white nine-year-old little boy. His character is quiet, mysterious and laid back. He is also the one that gets hurt the most.  “Someone killed Kenny” is one of the catch phrases that came from this show.

South Park is an animated show that chronicles the misadventures of four irreverent grade-schoolers in the crazy town of South Park, Colorado. This friend group is always on random adventures and doing crazy things. The best thing about this show is that it keeps everything real, and although it has a lot of racism, sexism, weird jokes and colorful language, this show addresses a lot of the problems that are going on in the real world, especially things people choose to ignore or dismiss.  It’s basically like a reality show from the perspective of a group of elementary kids living in a world with problems and issues.

This show is not for kids. It’s actually for teenagers and adults and all the things in this show should not be followed as an example or copied. I really enjoy this show because the way the characters argue, or are mean to each other, but still friends is just hilarious. South Park is known for its dark humor jokes.

This show’s debut was in 1997, and there are 26 seasons, including a couple of movies, and they don’t appear to be stopping any time soon. There are four main characters: Kyle, a 10-year-old little boy who wears a green hat. His character is the good/responsible friend of the group. Eric is his chubby friend who is more on the mean side and racist. He is always wearing a teal and yellow beanie. Stan is Kyle’s best friend because they have a lot in common. And last but not least, Kenny.

You can catch South Park on streaming services such as HBO Max, Hulu, and Amazon Prime.
