My favorite food to eat is anything with shrimp. I think I have an obsession with shrimp and shrimp can go with almost anything, and just makes the food taste better. When I’m working, I always think about the grilled shrimp tacos I get everytime I’m on my break.  

The Amigo’s Spot at the Kings Inn in Mission Valley, is the best place to score some amazing grilled shrimp tacos! The taco comes with cabbage, cilantro, spicy chipotle mayo, marinated grilled onions and sliced avocado. Your choice of either corn or flour tortillas, and you can adjust your appetite if you aren’t feeling for example; avocado or onions like me! Also with the side of their amazing crunchy-yet-soft filling fries on the side (by your choice) is a good palette changer.

The Amigo’s Spot is attached to the King’s Inn Hotel. You do not need to make a reservation. The Amigo’s Spot allows walk-ins from 4-9PM on weekdays and 4-10PM Friday and Saturday! You can get the shrimp grilled or fried and one taco is $4.95 and $8.50 for two. You can add a side of rice and beans for $7.50.  They also serve enchiladas, carnitas, and burritos.  They also serve street tacos on Taco Tuesdays.

The hospitality of this restaurant is beyond what you might expect, as if you were family.  The staff provides conversation and any helpful needs you may have while dining in. The servers, bussers, and hostess want to make sure you have the best experience while eating!
