Ms.Yamfang is one of the most benign and understanding teachers at Hoover. She always keeps an upbeat attitude in her class. She is an AHHC teacher, and the class I had with her was AP Psychology which was always welcoming and radiated such positive energy. She is very easy going and her teaching was very accommodating. She always teaches in a way her students will understand and fit their needs. She understands that sometimes students may need a small break from schoolwork. One moment I remember is when I lost my notebook full of notes and homework that was assigned and was pretty upset as all my information was there. I told her about this incident and instead of blaming me or saying that I should’ve been more careful she offered me more time to turn in my homework and genuinely validated the situation. I’m very appreciative of her for this because instead of considering it late or disregarded it she saw the situation and accommodated. She would also post Google forms on ways that she can improve her class and would actually do them. People I know have always trusted her in many ways. This is why she’s an amazing teacher and should be appreciated during Teacher Appreciation Week
