Vian Huynh is a 16-year-old Junior at Hoover High School in the ALMA academy. Born on September 28, Vian is a fun, loving, hard-working, and dedicated student. She is academically involved, becoming a member of about 7 clubs including Key Club, First Gen, Avenues for Success, Cardinals Interact, Talent Search, and A Bridge for Kids. Through Cardinals Interact, she entered the Four Way Speech contest, in which she won the top six during the drafting part of her speech, and soon after placed in the top 3. Like the scholar she is, her favorite class is AP calculus because of her love for Ms. Eyer and the friends she has in class.
In the future, Vian sees herself as happy, wealthy, and surrounded by people she loves. So, in order to achieve her goals, she is preparing for college with the support of her various clubs hoping she will find a career she enjoys that is fulfilling and financially supported. She works diligently every day to make it into her dream college, Stanford, to major in math and computer science. Having such an active academic life, she continues to find joy in school. She loves being able to spend time with her friends daily and believes it’s a good thing that school forces her to be productive.
Outside of her school life, she enjoys reading, watching TV, and spending time with friends and family. She has a vast number of books she has read, but currently, she is reading “The Six of Crows Duology”. Some other of her favorite things are the color blue, Vietnamese food, dogs and elephants, Starbucks, a series called “When I Fly Towards You” along with listening to music artists like Keshi and Dept
