It’s becoming very clear

April Fool’s! This story is false!

According to the administration, one of the reasons there’s bathroom lines and bathrooms are shut down is due to the amount of smoking/vaping which has resulted in a new clear bag policy.

Sources have stated that “the lines are super long because there’s only two bathrooms open in the whole school all because people ditch or just smoke in the bathrooms.”

Because of this, all backpacks, purses, pencil pouches, and gym bags are required to be clear or see through . These bags may also not exceed 12’’6”X12” in size. Students who fail to abide by these rules will receive a referral to the administration office where a parent will be contacted to come pick them up after a deep bag search.

“This is so unfair,” exclaimed senior Gerardo Flores.  “It is an invasion of our privacy!”

All students are required to sign a contract stating they understand this new policy. This contract will be sent out via student and parent email accounts, and a physical copy from their 3rd period will be collected. This will take place when students return from spring break.

Teachers are required to check in with their students and collect completed contracts as soon as possible. With student and parent signatures, it is imperative that students understand this concept and it is important for parents to help enforce this policy by purchasing a clear bag for their students.  They can also purchase one from the student store.

I like to go out to eat to views and at cool restaurants or simply just go to the beach with my girls. I love sushi but I also love Italian and Mexican food. My favorite roll is a crunchy roll as well as the California roll. I also love salmon sushi with just raw salmon and rice. My goals are to one day be a registered nurse and I aspire to be successful and become an inspiration for my younger brother. My role models are my parents, because they’re very hardworking people who have taught me everything I know about being a respectful and responsible person. My favorite drinks are Yerbamate teas, strawberry acacias from Starbucks (we're boycotting right now), Dr Pepper and ice cold water. I want to make an impact in the world by helping my community and taking care of people and their families. Society can make this world a better place by being more accepting and more open minded and not ass harmful towards things that aren’t bad they’re just different. Overall I feel like we need to be less hateful and help one another instead of break each other down to try and become better than the other person.
