For the summer, I applied to work at SeaWorld because I do not have money and need a summer job and I heard they are hiring seasonal workers. I also hear that they are hiring anyone right now because it gets busy during the summer with all the kids since there is no school.  People go with their kids or friends, and all the tourists are on vacation.

A lot of teenagers work there over the summer, and I’m talking about teenagers from all around San Diego.  It seems like it would be a wonderful job to have over the summer until school starts. I am going to need money because senior year is so expensive, with grad night, homecoming, and prom. I want to do all the senior activities, and they’re going to cost money.

Another thing that I will like about the job is that it will be an enjoyable experience to meet different people, who are my age, outside of school. But something that I won’t like about it is that it is pretty far from my house so I am going to need a ride or wake up super early and take the bus there and back home. On the Seaworld website, it says your hair has to be a natural color but I like to dye my hair during the summer so I have it a fun color before senior year starts.

I think that having this job this summer could give me something to do instead of staying at home and sleeping for hours and then doing chores all day. But I hope that I will still have time to spend with my friends because I only have two summers left before becoming an adult and once you become an adult all you do is work, so I do want to be able to enjoy this summer and not just be at home or at work.
