Griselda is a junior attending Hoover High School and is 16 years old. Her birthday is on October 14, and she was born and raised in San Diego, in the City Heights area. Griselda’s favorite things to do are play soccer, and plays as a center defender. She has been playing soccer since she was six years old. Soccer holds a special place in her heart because it helps Griselda bond with her father.

Another thing she enjoys is the yearbook. This will be her second year in the yearbook and she’s been enjoying the memories of last year. Art is another hobby Griselda enjoys. She’s been drawing and painting since she was young, and continues to take on that passion and push herself to become a better artist every day. Music is another thing Griselda enjoys and music is a part of her everyday life. Without her music, she’ll never be able to focus, her favorite artists are Laufey, Daniel Ceaser, Frank Ocean, and many more.

Math is something she dislikes. She knows she’ll need it for the future, but it was never interesting to her. Griselda’s favorite food is birria tacos because she enjoys the taste and spice of them. Griselda wants her future career to be a therapist because helping others will always be something she wants to do as a job and lifestyle.

Griselda’s biggest inspiration in her life are her parents. They make a big impact in her life because of how hardworking they are, and she knows that she’ll have to work even harder to make them proud. Griselda believes she can make the world a better place by speaking her mind and knowing what is wrong with the world. Each person’s voice matters and she’ll always try to make her voice known and heard. How she believes society can make the world a better place through social justice and equality. We always judge each other, but we never speak about it. If we address all the human issues like sexism, racism, economic injustice society can make the world a better place for all.
