Loraine Ortiz is a senior at Hoover High School for the 2024-2025 school year.

Her long term goal is to graduate and continue her education to make both of her parents proud. She is planning to continue her education going to college and then transferring to a University.

Overall she is hoping to enjoy her very last year here at Hoover High School. She enjoys all her classes but her favorite subject is Sports Medicine. Lorraine Ortiz participated in the holiday show during 2023. She played as bunny and had to memorize her lines for a very long time. Enjoying the character she played and the friends she made along the way she hopes to join another play in the near future. Bringing light to the negative things and making them positive. Her mindset is the thing that keeps pushing her forward.  She really enjoys journaling and reading because they are very comforting to her. Her favorite character is Guts from a manga called Berserk. Looking forward to graduation she seeks to make a difference around school and get to know more people. Even though she is sad to leave Hoover High School, she is ready for the next chapter in her life.
