Sofia Vergara is a Columbian-American well known sensational international actress and model.

In order to help the world, she is closely associated with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. She does her best to help sick children in need of support and struggling to pay medical expenses. Also, her mission is to inspire women of all backgrounds but especially immigrants because she is also an immigrant and knows what it feels like. She wants to show others that anything is possible no matter how difficult it looks at any time. To add on, she helps raise money for Columbian non–profits and campaigns to help people struggling in poverty. Columbia struggles a lot with issues including poverty but also human rights and corruption. Things like these make life harder for everyday Colombian people trying to live life one day at a time.

In addition to this, she has also won a Nobel Peace Prize for Hispanic Woman of the Year in 1999. Much of the public around the world praise and look up to her and use her as an example of how successful someone can be no matter where they come from or how they grew up. One of the charity’s she’s created is the Peace and Hope for the Children of Colombia charity. As a result, this proves that she uses her money for good change and looks out for others unlike other wealthy celebrities we’ve seen. This is not the first scenario we’ve seen Sofia take matters into her own hands in order to make positive change to society. She strongly believes that if you’re in a position to be able to aid others to not pass up the opportunity since not everyone is as fortunate.
