Kaitlyn Ponce is a sophomore at Hoover High School with hopes of being a dermatologist in the future.

Her life consists of academics, ballet, and being a loving and caring older sister and daughter. She has always liked to stay on top of her studies all the time to insure she does not fall behind for whatever reason. She has played the violin for one year and also done ballet for one year as well. She enjoys playing the violin because the sound of the instrument calms her and brings her peace. In addition, ballet is her side hobby to keep her busy and occupied with something during the week. Therefore, she always likes to be involved in something to keep her busy and productive.

To add on, she was in Hoover’s orchestra class last year playing the violin. She loved having the opportunity to perform and play for others so they could enjoy the beauty an instrument can bring. Also, she loves doing ballet because she believes in the art of dance and how much of a lovely sport it can be for everyone.

Her personal life includes looking out for her little sister and her two dogs. She puts others before herself and is a loving and caring person to whoever comes along her path. As a result, she is one of Hoover’s best kept secrets.
