My favorite food establishment by far has to be Santa Ana Fresh Mexican Food located on 4403 University Ave San Diego, CA 92105.
This spot is not far at all from Hoover High School which is where I study at so it’s also a convenient location to go to after a long school day. As a result, I find myself frequently going to this establishment with my friends to get a bite of food after starving at school the whole day. Whenever I come here my friends, I love ordering the large carne asada fries which are actually a pretty good size that the three of us end up sharing and we end up actually getting full.
They offer a medium and a large size of the carne asada fries and the prices of them are $14.99 for the medium and $18.99 for the large. My friends and I love the carne asada fries because we think it’s an iconic dish for a good price but also because we believe it’s pretty hard to make a bad batch. But, I will say the only thing we disliked though was that there were more toppings than actual meat.
This restaurant also offers many different kinds of Mexican dishes besides carne asada fries like burritos, enchiladas, tacos, seafood, and tortas. Additionally, all the times i’ve gone it’s never been packed and the amount they take to deliver the food to the table is very short and they provide many utensils and napkins.
To add on, the bathrooms are also very clean along with the floors and tables and the restaurant has a nice fresh clean smell. If you would like to try some pretty good authentic Mexican food I’d very highly suggest this restaurant and they even offer services like Grubhub, DoorDash, Postmates, and UberEats if you’d rather it be delivered to your house.
