Samantha Hoyos Ramos was born June 9, and is a senior at Hoover High School.
Samantha is very involved in Hoover and the community, being an active member of many clubs and sports. She has participated in soccer, softball, and flag football. She is also on the swim team. She works hard, committing herself fully to every sport and becoming friends with all her teammates. Samantha is the vice president of the Drama Club, co-leader of an education community, a member of the Dance Club, and in a Bible study.
Samantha is very caring and loves to do things for others. She always makes sure that other people are included and that everyone feels welcome. She loves making sure others get the attention they deserve and has even brought teachers presents for their birthdays. One of her favorite memories from school is staff appreciation day, where she can show her teachers how much they mean to her and they can finally have some appreciation for all their hard work.
After graduating high school, Samantha is planning on attending San Diego State University and majoring in business administration. She then wants to transfer to another university and major in economics. For her future career, she dreams of becoming an entrepreneur and owning her own business.
In the future, she also wants to visit Dubai and get to see different cultures. Samantha likes to spend her free time at the gym, as she really enjoys working out, biking on specified trails, and going to eat with friends. Samantha’s family is from Guadalajara, Mexico, and she loves going and visiting them.
