Jordan Tran is an exemplary student-athlete at Hoover High School. Born on Christmas Eve, he is 17 years old, soon to be 18. He was born in San Diego, California, and is raised by his grandparents who he holds dear and cherishes deeply.
Jordan plays badminton competitively, though he also views it as a hobby and has been playing for four years. While being a student-athlete, he has run into challenges that pushes him to his limits. However, he continuously perseveres. In both aspects of being a student-athlete, on and off the court, Jordan tries his hardest. He always shows up for conditioning with the right mindset, performing as best as he can. He gives his all during matches especially, even placing as a semifinalist in 2024.
Regarding his academics, with the hopes of becoming a nurse practitioner, he never slacks off and puts a great deal of effort into every assignment he receives. Being in the Academy of Health and Healthier Communities (AHHC), this encourages his dreams of being in the medical field.
Though he admits his future will be heavily consumed with challenging coursework to prepare for being a NP, he envisions badminton is still a prominent aspect of that future. To keep him motivated, he listens to The Neighborhood, almost having listened to their entire discography.
