In honor of teacher appreciation week, Mr. Faisal Bihi is a teacher from Hoover High that has been working for almost 20 years. Not only that,  he is an alumni at Hoover High School.

Mr. Bihi is one of the teachers that is very kind and a funny teacher that makes sure that students are comfortable in his class. He’s the type of teacher who doesn’t let any student feel alone nor feel excluded in any group work or partner work. Mr.Bihi is loved by many students that love being in his classroom. 

Ever since he was a kid, he always wanted to become a teacher until he finished high school. However, he wanted to go into engineering at a community college or perhaps a four year college. But once he finished college, he wanted to go back into becoming a teacher. Not only that, his memories that had been created on compass and how he got along with the teachers. He’s forever attached to Hoover High School.

Hoover High school impacted Mr. Bihi in many ways, ever since he was welcomed as a student he got attached to Hoover High School. His inspiration comes from his students of their hardship, commitment, and how they’re always focused in his class. 

Not only that, his teaching helped many students understand math but not only that, he made the classroom fill with laughter and have a warm welcoming atmosphere in his classroom. A student stated how much Mr.Bihi helped them to become successful in math more significantly than before. Mr. Bihi acknowledged students who don’t understand the concept of math, he didn’t give up on helping them. Instead, he tries his best to make sure students understand the math concepts successfully. Moreover, this shows that Mr. Bihi is always willing to help even making sure students are comfortable and safe into his classroom.
