Jason Momoa was born in Honolulu on August 1 , 1979 but as a child he moved to Norwalk, Iowa, and raised by single mother. Jason moved back to Hawaii after he finished high school and enrolled at that University of Hawaii. His acting life waited for a bit while his luck was great as he met Takeo, a famous international fashion designer. In 1999, Momoa won Hawaii’s model of the year award and walked down the runway in Louis vuitton at the Governor’s fashion show. Jason’s acting career sprung as he starred in Baywatch (Hawaii) 1999-2001. He moved to Los Angeles and starred in Baywatch Hawaii Wedding (2003) and Tempted (2003), a story about a married woman becomes attracted to a young man after she takes the ashes of her nanny to Hawaii.

Before following into his famous role that everyone knows about, Jason was in a fight in a bar where they smashed a glass bottle across his face resulting in 140 stitches and a scar above his left eye. After this incident he was cast into Game of Thrones as the role of Khal Drogo. The show became big and Jason’s role brought in big groups of fans. Jason also introduced a new version of the DC superhero, Aquaman in the Justice League movie.
