Recently, some areas of San Diego are starting to enlighten and open which is a good thing. But have you thought about what you want to do once everything opens up? I know I do. Since COVID-19 has taken away a big chunk of senior year, mainly everyone was looking forward to, I wanted to do something for my friend and possibly do even more. One thing I wanted to do was have my graduation party at the beach with the rest of my senior friends to celebrate our hard work we did for four years. I was thinking about renting jet skis, paddle boards and so much more and let everyone have a great time and enjoy the last moments we have with each other. I just want to be with my friends one last time before everyone goes their separate ways and explore the real world. Also maybe try planning a roadtrip with some of my closest friends and travel up to the Bay Area and have a great time. Maybe go to some museums along the way, for example, visit LACMA and The Ice Cream Museum, and take aesthetically pleasing photos to always look back at.

Another thing I’d like to do is see my great grandma once everything is safe to do so. I was looking forward to seeing her at my graduation but unfortunately, we can’t and even so right now because of how old she is and I don’t want to risk anything happening to her. I want to make time for my family a little bit more because due to Corona, I realized I need to spend time with my family more.  I’ve been so caught up with school and all the extra curriculars I was taking to the point I didn’t have that much time to hang out with my family. But once everything is safe I am for sure going to spend as much time with the ones I couldn’t see.

I hope to see everyone making plans now so that once everything is all cleared you can make memorable moments with the ones you care about. Remember we are all in this together and we will fight it off slowly but surely. Make sure when you’re going out to always wear a mask and possibly gloves. Also hit up your friends and family and tell them that you miss them and also catch up with them.
