Workload on seniors

Workload+on+seniors

For me as a senior, I feel as if work has been thrown at me, especially since it’s the end of the year, and we only have two weeks left of school. We had a lot more time for certain projects, but once May started it does feel like we’re getting rushed to finish all work. And in May testing was happening for AP classes, and depending which class you had, you would have to do it on a different day. So it means that you would have to be ready to take a test that is important if you want it to count for college credit. A lot of work does make a student feel stressed, especially if they don’t know how to deal with it.

As we’re now at the end of May, once June hits seniors will have to get ready to practice for graduation, and then go to prom and then to Grand Night. As these are special events that will soon be coming, and it all becomes nerve wracking. Also next week will be probably the last week to turn anything in before grades get turned in for the final of second semester. It also makes it so seniors for any classes that are electives have to be done much earlier than any other year. As you don’t want to fail your senior year as it’s the most important year for all the upcoming events, and getting into colleges.

You don’t want to be the student who won’t be able to walk with your fellow seniors for graduation or do any of the other fun events. There’s a lot of pressure put on seniors as soon as they become adults. You’re also expected to choose your path for the career you want to do. Just the thought about what seniors will do after high school is a hard decision to make.
