In honor for Teacher Appreciation Week, I would like to spotlight my English teacher from junior year, Ms. Dodd. She has impacted my life in a positive way from when I had her for the first period, I always looked forward to coming to her class. Her class would always make me feel comfortable and her classroom is a safe place.

She taught us many things like, how to journal our thoughts, how to meditate, breathing exercises, and many more. One time, I remembered I was in first period, and I’d always be tired so I fell asleep on her couch because it was just too comfortable. She did wake me up and made sure I didn’t fall asleep again.

I also had my friends in that class so that’s also another reason why her class was my favorite. She’s a very nice teacher and very understanding. She’s a good teacher to talk to when you have problems you want to talk about. Overall she is a fun teacher to be around and you can tell she is very motivated to teach her students.
