The pros of the instant hot chocolate are; it’s fast to make, very easy, and it is pre-sweetened, and also it can be a sweet treat for kids.

The cons about it are that it can be very thin and watery, and it can be overly sweet or it can have a weaker flavor. It often contains additives, which shows regular hot chocolate is much better and doesn’t really have much sugar. Regular is also richer, creamier, with a deeper chocolate flavor (due to cocoa butter/real chocolate, customizable). Although it takes more time and effort. I think the regular hot chocolate is better because you are making it yourself, and you can add as much sugar as you want, and you can make it however you want, as the instant one, you can’t really do much to it because it already has the stuff that goes in it. I think the regular hot chocolate is more popular because many businesses sell it, as it is way better than the instant one. I didn’t really see many places that sell the instant one because I think that one is less popular than the regular one.

I much prefer the regular, because the instant one doesn’t really give that hot chocolate taste, because whenever I make it just tastes watered down and just not like hot chocolate. Instant hot chocolate is the most popular because it’s very easy to make, and all you have to do is put milk or hot water. The most popular brands would be Swiss Miss and Nesquik; they’re both household names. You can get them in any store; the Swiss Miss can be located in Walmart, Target, or even in Costco, as the Nesquik can be located in mostly Mexican stores because that one is more Mexican culture hot chocolate. I would prefer the instant hot chocolate because it’s very easy, even though it’s sweeter, and also it’s cheaper.
