I would personally like to say that baking is one of my many love languages. The reason why I say this is because when I bake I usually do it with somebody in mind, whether that be a partner, friends, etc. Baking is also an outlet for me. When I bake it’s relaxing. I can just put on a good playlist and bake away.
When somebody tends to eat something I have baked and they tell me that they like it it’s a rewarding feeling. I feel proud that something that I made had the ability to make somebody happy. Such as the time I made chocolate chip banana bread and gave some to a friend. He said it was incredibly good and kept asking for more. As a baker I would say that’s the biggest compliment. Once more, I made some oreo cinnamon rolls and gave them to my manager at work. He gave some to other workers and they all came up to me one by one and told me that it was really good.
Anything that is in the culinary arts category has my complete interest. I love cooking and I love baking. Trying out new recipes regardless of failure or not makes me feel happy. It’s sort of therapeutic for me. One thing that I will hopefully make in the near future is macarons. Macarons are one of the hardest things to master as one mistake can make the entire thing go sideways. You have to be extremely technical with them.
All in all, I hope to continue to be able to bake and have people try my goods. I’m hoping to get back into the entrepreneurial world and sell my baked goods to make a profit and show others that baking can contain something for everybody to enjoy.
