Josafat Munoz is a 14-year-old freshman in the AHHC academy and currently attending Hoover High School in hopes of graduating with good grades and later moving on to higher education.
Josafat is involved in Hoover High by playing an instrument, more specifically the guitar. Although it is his first year playing, he knew the guitar was the missing piece he needed in his life. He was heavily influenced to try out an instrument because of his older sister, Amy Munoz, also a fellow Hoover Cardinal. He states that when he plays the guitar, he feels comfortable, happy, and at ease, being able to create such a beautiful melodic sound. In addition, as far as education goes Josafat has dreams of becoming a veterinarian in the future, proving his caring nature for others. However, he is still not quite sure exactly what school he would like to attend just yet, since he is a freshman. Also, he strongly believes that anything you want in life can most definitely be achieved as long as you chase it hard enough and you believe in yourself even when no one else does.
Additionally, in his free time, Josafat deeply enjoys creating visual art, as he uses it as a way to relax and feel stress free. As a freshman, he currently has an art elective with Mr. Merrill where he is learning how to create realistic artworks. Josafat utilizes his art elective as a way to express himself and makes each art piece unique and relevant to himself. On a more personal note, Josafat’s life consists of his friends, who he deeply admires and cares for, his older sister, who he tries his best to get along with, and school. Josafat is trying his best to stay on top of all his assignments and maintain a good gpa, in order to fulfill his longtime dream of becoming a veterinarian. He is not only a compassionate person to his peers but also to animals. In the end, he is one of Hoover’s best hidden secrets.
