Online learning can be good or bad depending on the person’s situation. When Covid hit in 2020-2021 everyone had to switch to online learning. Planning one’s day would be much easier in the way that you could plan without having school get in the way of your activities. You would feel less stressed and not have to worry about such things as a sleeping schedule. For some it benefits them for not having to take that trip to get to school on time. For others it was hard for them to transition from in person to online learning. Many people were frustrated because it was easier for them to do in person work. And for those who were already used to working online, they enjoyed the whole online transition.
There wasn’t a better side, it was just simply balanced. When I did online learning I saw it as an easy way out to not do the work. That alone caused me to fail and missed a lot of important things us people need in life to learn. If you have the right people who can support you then you can do well with online learning.
However some struggle especially with not having a Chromebook or even WiFi and having to do extra work to get WiFi or paper, things like that. Many negative things of online learning are people missing out on social interaction and not having to go to prom or any school events. Many love this because they can have better mental health and have no drama at school. It really does depend on how the person sees online learning and seeing if it can benefit them or not. Many can see this as an opportunity to change their life for the better, like getting more sleep. Even enjoying being outside or a coffee shop to do online learning instead of having to sit in a building staring at your computer for hours. Many get distracted or worry about not being themselves so online learning can help many and work around people’s schedules. The things that really matter is working in a way that works best for oneself.
