Thanksgiving means being grateful to all my family and friends, as there are people out there who wish they could celebrate it.
It also means a lot to me to get to see all my family and spend time with them, because I barely get to see them. Also, by eating food and just being grateful that I get to see them. Thanksgiving also means to me by being grateful that I still get to see my family and get to spend time with them although I wish I could get to see my family from Mexico. However, it’s all fine because at least I get to see the majority of them. I wish I could meet my other family from my mom’s side, but sadly I don’t know any of them, I only get to see family from my dad’s side. I also wish I could have met my mom’s parents, but sadly, I never got to meet them.
Overall, I’m still grateful that I still get to see my family members because there are families that don’t get the chance to see their families because they might have passed away or because they are in the hospital or something else. I’m still grateful overall. Thanksgiving means to me, by also spending time with my grandparents because I get to see them talk to their kids, and also because the last two years, they haven’t been here for Thanksgiving because they also have other kids in Mexico. I’m grateful they will be here because there are also families that don’t get to see their grandparents because they are, sadly, not here.
Thanksgiving means a lot to me for a lot of reasons. I get to eat, and also because I don’t have to worry about school the next day, and we also don’t have school the whole week. Other than that, Thanksgiving might not be my favorite holiday, but it’s still a day to be grateful for because not everyone gets to see their families. Thanksgiving will always be a day when I feel grateful for the people around me, who love and support me, because not everyone gets that kind of support. And one last thing, I’m grateful that I have my parents together because not everyone’s parents are together. Thanksgiving will always have a special place in my heart.

Thanksgiving is one of the most underrated holidays in my opinion. To me it simply means good, the good in people, and the things we do for the holiday.
In my family we try to give to each other and give out to those in need, invite all our family, friends, and those who aren’t doing anything for thanksgiving. Thanksgiving isn’t the only day where we can give out to people, I like to do it every time when I know I can give out to those who need it. Thanksgiving also means a lot to me since it reunites my family and we all have a nice day.
We start making the food in the morning, turkey, tamales, etc… And that just makes the best of it since it also gives me the feeling that Christmas is also getting closer. Sometimes I think of Thanksgiving as a time to think about the things I should be thankful for and the things I should do more on a daily basis like spending time with all my family, friends, and also helping more people whenever I know that I am able to do it.
Thanksgiving has different meanings for everybody. For some people, it might just be another day, for some other people though it can mean a lot of different things, happiness, excitement, and enjoying the time you get to spend with your family and friends. Everyone is being thankful and nice to each other because they got to get dinner together in a nice house. Being thankful for nice people and hopefully not suffering like some. People should just be thankful because they’re having a good time and enjoying the moment.
Thanksgiving is just God making you do things in a day you might not do on a daily basis. I feel Thanksgiving represents God, since it is the best time to give out to people.
