David Chang is a well known Korean American restaurateur, author, and podcaster. Born in August 5, 1977 in Arlington County Virginia, Chang attended the French Culinary Institute and worked part time at Mercer Kitchen in Manhattan. Then in 2004, Chang opened his very first restaurant, called Momofuku Noodle Bar. In August 2009, Chang opened his second restaurant, Momofuku Ssam Bar. Chang additionally launched Fuku, a chain of fast food restaurants specializing in fried chicken sandwiches. Chang opened a variety of restaurants and his most famous and well known restaurant, Momofuku Ko, was awarded two Michelin stars, which it has retained each year since 2009.

Not only was David Chang a famous restaurateur, he was also a well known podcaster and appeared many times on television and the newspapers. Chang´s impact on the culinary world was so big that he appeared on the, ¨Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in 2010.¨ Chang developed two Netflix originals, ¨Ugly Delicious,¨ and ¨Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.¨ Chang additionally appeared on the ¨BuzzFeed¨ and the web series ¨Worth It.¨ David Chang has his very own podcast called ¨The Dave Chang Show¨ and is a host on a spin-off called ¨The Recipe Club¨ with guest host Chris Ying. David Chang is a very influential person in the works of culinary, inspiring many other individuals to start cooking.
