Barbara Hewett, Staff Writer
The young dedicated school journalist, Barbara Hewett, is a senior at Hoover High School. In her free time she likes to read mystery, non fiction, and science fiction novels. Her favorite video games are Club Penguin and Roblox. She would like to one day receive a phD in biology. She has started working towards that goal by being part of the Ocean Discovery organization. Just last year she traveled to Bahia to research the abundance and diversity of the plant life on the islands of Bahia. She is thankful about this and other opportunities that were offered to her here at Hoover. Her time here in high school has helped her grow into a person who is prepared to take on challenges that she is to face in the future. In the future she hopes to go seek thrills by bungee jumping and hike the potato chip rock.
