Magy Perez

Magy Perez, Staff Writer

Magali Perez is a junior at Hoover High School. She is class of 2020, and plays for Hoover’s Varsity softball team. She was born on August 6 in San Diego. Magali is an independent, and determined young woman. People may find her intimidating, but she is actually a kind person who likes to make new friends.

Magy takes her education very seriously and will graduate in white. She is in the Social Justice Academy at Hoover. Magy hopes to pursue a career in the criminal justice field to become a probation officer, and hopes to guide teenagers who have committed crimes onto the right path.

Magy likes giving back to her community by participating in service oriented activities such as beach clean-ups, food banks, and reading to children at the Euclid Child Development Center. She enjoys helping people because seeing others happy makes her happy. Magy believes that keeping a positive mindset is essential because you can achieve anything if you believe in yourself.
