Jireh Elena Tapia is a 17-year-old senior at Hoover High School in the ALMA Academy. Not only is she involved in academics, taking as many AP and honors classes as she can, but she is also an athlete. She is currently in the varsity cheer team. During the winter season, she is part of the Girls Varsity Soccer Team as a former CIF 2018-2019 Soccer Champion for Hoover. As a student athlete, her dedication is what builds her character and allows her to thrive for more in her high school career. She is also very passionate about surfing and spending time at the beach. The beach to Jireh is a second home to her, and it is where she goes to relax and let her stress and problems go with the oceans waves. Jireh also enjoys spending time isolated listening to music such as Indie and Alternative or watching movies like The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Her favorite food is Italian but she loves to snack. In the future, she hopes to become an emergency room doctor as well as the owner of a 1970 Mustang Cobra Jet.
