On Friday, September 29th, the Hoover Cardinals and the Fallbrook Warriors faced of on our home turf.  Hoover had a smooth first quarter, dominating the game defensively and offensively. We were up 9-7 after the first quarter, however in second quarter we hit some road bumps and was trailing 14-9. At the end of halftime the cardinals went back on the field but it went all downhill from there, giving the offense yards and turning over the ball on a punt. Players were frustrated at the final score because the score didn’t show how hard Hoover fought. It was an intense matchup but at the end our cardinals lost 9-28 leaving us at 1-4 season record.
