Veronica Perez, Senior Writer
Veronica Perez is a senior at Hoover. She is currently 17 years old. She has a younger sister who she is very close with. She played on the varsity soccer team as a freshman and will now continue into her last and final year on the team. She is very excited to be a senior but feels more nervous about starting a new life outside of her comfort zone. She plans on going to university/college. She’s hoping to travel as well and make her parents proud. She would like to go to Brazil or New York as her first few traveling places. Throughout the years she has had many obstacles to overcome but because of her few close friends she has been able to go through them little by little. Music is a big part of her life. She says it’s what keeps her going and helps her find her peace when she wants to block everything out. Her biggest inspiration is her little sister, even though her sister is way younger than her, Veronica feels the need to be at her best to show her sister that they both can make it big.
