Ethan Tonn is a 16-year-old sophomore at Hoover High School, who has shown dedication and strength as a football player.
Ethan has been playing football for three years and began playing for the Hoover football team during his freshman year as a JV player. He says what motivated him to join and to begin playing was that he had already had past experience playing and it seemed like a fitting sport for him. What he enjoys most about playing is getting to go full contact and the teamwork. This year Ethan is now on the varsity team and plays center. Although this sport can come with some hard challenges, he has been able to accomplish triumphs by showing hard work and determination. He says what pushes him to keep going are his friends and family and more specifically his mom who gives him encouragement and is there for him.
Outside of school some things he enjoys doing is cutting hair and spending time with family. For Ethan, cutting hair is a way for him to make money while also doing something that he enjoys. He believes spending time with family is crucial to him because it brings him closer to family and it makes him feel better. Some other things he likes doing in his free time is playing video games, sleeping, and also listening to music. Ethan says his favorite music genre is rap.
Ethan puts a big amount of effort into both sports and his education showing how determined he is and keeps working hard leading him to a bright future. He tells himself and others, “Keep believing in yourself and you’ll get there.”
