Noah Contreras is a 18 year old senior at Hoover High School who’s shown himself to be an outstanding player on the football field.
Noah has been playing for Hoover’s football team since his sophomore year in high school and made varsity his first year playing. He has played defensive and wide receiver. Before joining the team, he had already been playing since the age of six years old. What got him into football was his mom as she encouraged him to try something new since he was an active kid and now it is something that he is good at and enjoys. What he enjoys about football is how reckless it is and the competitiveness which is thrilling for him and lets him push himself to his limits. Although practicing and pushing himself keeps him going, his mom is one of the people who inspires him and encourages him to keep on going.
Since this is his last year playing for the team, he says he recalls countless memories with the team as a whole and the coaches and is very grateful to have been a part of the team. Outside of football and his sport’s life, Noah proves himself to be a dedicated student and tries in his academics. After school he likes to finish classroom work and likes to workout. He plans to attend Miramar College and is ready for the future. He often tells his teammates and classmates, “Stay true to yourself!”
