Hoover High School’s range of diversity has brought a sense of adventure through each and every student that has walked through these gates. This is what motivated the 2025-2026 yearbook staff to land on this year’s theme of Our Never Ending Journey. 

Throughout the years, Cardinal Pride has meant more than just classrooms and homework. It is a symbol of cultural pride that has brought comfort to our students. Through months of preparation, yearbook editors have worked hard to produce and lead their staff to perfection. The process of making this yearbook required dedication, teamwork and creativity. Alongside the crucial step of moving away from the negativity that had once clouded Hoover.

Instead, a renewed sense of positivity encouraged by both students and administration helped shape the vision of this book. With our whole staff’s opinion taken into careful consideration, this strengthened the collaboration within the team.

“The staff this year has a tight knit feel that was absent in the previous staff I’ve been on,” expressed Senior Sports Editor Quincy Enyama-Turner. “That’s why I feel very confident of our book.”

This book not only preserves this year’s memories but also celebrates the ongoing journey that our Cardinal students will go on to live after high school.

“A taste of diversity is what sets the stage for Hoover’s triumph,” expressed Senior Clubs and Academics Editor, Tania Mondragon.

The yearbook cover was also a main factor into our book’s theme, which showcases the diversity from our students and their culture.

“I wanted to create something that would embellish all of Hoover’s diversity, which was a long but rewarding process,” described senior staff member Brianna Renteria, who designed the cover.

Students can purchase the yearbook now for $80 at Hoover’s finance office. Payments can be made with cash, check or you can even use Hoover bucks if convenient. Seniors should consider buying the yearbook early, because last year’s book sold out.

The yearbook staff can’t wait for students to continue their Never Ending Journey.
