My all-time favorite movie is Blended. I watch that movie at least four times a month because it’s a romcom, and I love that genre of movies. It’s funny, and it has a good ending.

I also love it because of Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore, who are two of my favorite actors.  The plot of the movie is about a recently divorced mom, Lauren (Barrymore), and a widowed dad, Jim (Sandler), who let their friends push them into a blind date, which goes terribly wrong. Unsurprisingly, neither wants to see the other ever again. However, they meet again when both Jim and Lauren purchase one-half of the same vacation package at a South African resort; they and their children are forced to share the same suite and participate in a slew of family activities together.

In addition, the movie features Bella Thorne, Terry Crews, and many more. I feel like the cast was chosen perfectly because they are funny and they fit their roles. I realized that the trip they took wasn’t to a basic place like in most movies where they go to Hawaii or Mexico. Their trip was in Africa which is seldom shown in movies as a resort location, so it was a different change of scenery. They showed lots of animals and other activities that involved the jungle.

I recommend this movie to people who like comedy movies. Also if you love Adam Sandler, you should add this to your collection of his movies. It shows how something can go from wrong, to messy, to good in the end.  It’s about two hours, without ads, or a little longer with ads. You can find it on Amazon Prime, YouTube, and Apple TV.
