My favorite movie would be The Princess and the Frog because it has good music and a nice love story. I like it because it is a cute story that doesn’t involve a prince needing to save a princess or the princess getting captured and needing help. It shows time and patience with someone to gain their trust and later fall in love with each other.
At first, the prince was getting ready to marry a rich girl, but then he was cursed because he mistakenly kissed the wrong girl, and they went into a lot of trouble to get back into their normal bodies as they were before. The main character of the movie is Tiana, who was the protagonist who had a dream to open her own restaurant. Then Prince Naveen, who needed money, was transformed into a frog alongside Tiana. Dr Facilier, was the one who crushed Prince Naveen and Tiana. Charlotte, who helped Tiana, accidentally met the prince’s background with exaggerated architectural features and a hand-drawn 2D animation style with 3D elements used. Tiana was very young when she met Charlotte, the princess. They became friends, and years later, Tiana was still saving up for a restaurant while working in one herself.
Although she earns enough money, but she is then tasked with serving baskets at Charlotte’s party for Prince Naveen’s arrival. As she is preparing the table, she gets dirty and Charlotte asked her to change into one of her dresses in her room where she meets Prince Naveen. He turned into a frog thinking that Tiana was the princess, he kissed her and they both turned into frogs. They leave the palace to find someone named Mama Voodoo that can help them get into their original bodies.
On their journey into the rain forest, they meet a crocodile named Louis and a firefly named Ray. They meet up with Mama Voodoo and she tells them the only solution is for Naveen to kiss a princess, and when he does, they both will return to normal. They went back to the place they were before and he kissed Charlotte but that didn’t work. So, he kissed Tiana and they both turned into humans again and got married and opened a restaurant together.
Everyone should watch it because it is a funny and charming movie. Streaming services it is available on Disney+, Netflix, Amazon Video, and Fandango at home.
