Amina Naleye, Staff Writer
Amina Naleye is a sophomore in the ALMA academy at Hoover High School. She was born on January 13, in Memphis, Tennessee. Amina loves watching movies and often finds herself rewatching Spiderman Into the Spiderverse and the Korean film The Call. She’s constantly listening to music, her favorite songs at the moment being “Edge of Desire” by John Mayer, “Regulate” by Warren G, “Complex” by Stayc, and “Million Dollar House” by Pierce the Veil. She also loves reading. Her most recent book she finished was The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren. Amina’s favorite thing about her appearance is her height, as she is 5’11. In all honesty, Amina only joined publications because her best friend is in it but she finds herself really enjoying the class. She was always somewhat interested in photography. She has no solid plans for herself after high school, just wants to travel around the globe. Amina is Somali and can speak the language, making her bilingual. She can also speak a bit of Arabic.
