Lindsey Arzola, Staff Writer
Lindsey Arzola is a senior at Hoover High School. She was born on January 30, 2002 in Tijuana, Mexico. Lindsey is an active member on campus who participates in Key Club and the Art Club, owing to her innate propensity for drawing since she was in the 4th grade. She grew up in a small family of juxtaposed tastes, one of 80s music and another of modern technology. Because of both, she aspires to be a computer engineer with a vast knowledge of R.E.M. and Van Halen songs. Lindsey works hard toward this goal, ignoring the haters and not comparing herself to others. She is self-doubtful at times, but the thought of “why would Lindsey want to be a second-rate [insert name here] if she can be a first-rate Lindsey?” encourages her to be the best that she can be. After all, she is a role model for her younger sister, who also wants to be as successful as her. Lindsey is an outstanding Hoover Cardinal.
