Luisana Chavez, Senior Editor
Luisana Chavez was born on September 16. She will be 17 years old in two weeks. She was born and raised in San Diego, California. Luisana went to Wilson Middle School, and is now a senior at Hoover High School and will graduate in 2021. Both of her parents were born in Mexico and she is fluent in both Spanish and English and has two older sisters. Luisana’s mother is one of her many role models because of the many lessons she has been able to teach her. She decided to take publications this year because she enjoys writing and communicating with others through her work. Luisana thinks that people may refuse to follow the requirement of wearing a mask because it’s outside of their normal comfort zone but she says that regardless of any excuses people make about wearing a mask they should try to wear one when they go outside. She also thinks people can be safer during this pandemic if they avoid going out unless absolutely needed, wear a mask when they go out, and wash their hands thoroughly and pretty often.
